Francavilla Angitola is a ''comune'' (municipality) in the Province of Vibo Valentia in the Italian region Calabria, located about southwest of Catanzaro and about northeast of Vibo Valentia. As of 31 December 2004, it had a population of 2,093 and an area of .〔All demographics and other statistics: Italian statistical institute Istat.〕 Francavilla Angitola borders the following municipalities: Curinga, Filadelfia, Maierato, Pizzo, Polia.
